A Sporty Day At The Park

McCoy and Madden love anything to do with the park. OK.... and sports. Last sunday we took the boys and the dogs to the park to run around and play.... On our way there Madden fell asleep, and there was no way I was waking him up! But all in all McCoy had a ton of fun with us and the dogs at the park! I cant wait till it warms up just a little bit more!

The Great Goose Attack

Last monday, Michelle and I took McCoy, Madden, and Ryder to the park to feed the ducks! They were everywhere! Oh my goodness we were pinned between the curb and the car being swarmed by the starving geese. Madden was frozen stiff seeing is how he is not the biggest fan of animals in general. McCoy just so happened to not like to throw the bread fast enough apparently, therefor the geese took it upon themselves to grab the bread out of his hand.... McCoy all of a sudden started screaming because the goose grabbed onto his finger. Then he turned around and another one grabbed onto his coat and was shaking his sleeve around like a dog playing tug of war. He did not find that too amusing, But we couldnt stop laughing!

Madden's First Birthday

Feb. 7th was Maddens 1st birthday! Oh my goodness, I can't even believe it! It seems just like yesterday that I had him. He is just such a big boy and is growing and changing every day! His party turned out just great! I didn't have any rsvp's so I was a little nervous that people were not going to come! But to the contrary we had a packed house! it was stinking crazy! He got sooooo many cute things and he absolutely loves all of his toys! Thank you to every one who came! We are so thankful that we got to spend this very special occasion with all of our loved ones!

McCall Winter Festival

This weekend we went with our friends The Tucker's up to McCall for the winter festival. We had a blast! It was pretty chilly, but all around great family fun! McCoy loved to play with Bridgette and Deegan! And we also had a great time hanging out with our friends! We looked at all the snow sculptures, went sledding, and McCoy got to go ice skating for the 1st time! He had such a great time, and didn't even fall once! I can't wait till next year to do it all over again!

Broken or not broken?

On friday night McCoy was climing into the car and slipped......falling smack dap on his face....in our driveway! OUCH!!! He screamed bloody murder! His nose was bleeding and his lip and nose immediatly swole up! He did quite a number to his nose, lip, and face. He would not let me touch it! After he stopped crying he seemed ok, still a little squeemish if anyone got near it! But being the weekend and all I thought that I would wait till Monday and decide if i needed to take him to the doctor for immediate care! So for the last 2 nights every time McCoy's nose would graze his pillow he screamed! So this morning i called his doctor to tell her what was going on, and of course she wanted to see him....... His little nose has a big bruise across the bridge then down from that to the tip it goes a little crooked! So he was a very good boy and held very very still for the doctor to look at. She said it was really swollen inside but she thinks it might be broken up near the septum which she cannot see with her scope. So she scheduled an immediate appointment with an ENT doctor tomorrow to do xrays and possibly scoping his nose! Just to be sure! Even if its nothing I would rather be safe than sorry......
